Why did you start this?

It’s the right thing to do and definitely something that is needed at this time.

We wanted to contribute back to the community by using our available resources. Nationally this is something that we need.

We've partnered with our manufacturer and Maly swimwear, and reached out to our team of seamstresses and got them back to work. They can now continue to provide for their homes while also providing a service for our community to stay safe. We transitioned our factory in Miami, FL. to make as many masks as possible daily, currently we are producing 350-450 masks a day.

How can people help ?

Donate! Purchase masks to help stop the spread for yourselves, purchase for your family members make sure they are protected as well.

There are two ways you can donate: Via our Donation 3 Pack and through the Front Step Project.

The donations we receive are going directly to first responders and local medical facilities that we have partnered with that have a lack of supplies. We have donated over 5,000 masks to local medical facilities on our behalf.

How many workers do you have working ?

We currently have six seamstresses, our head of factory, and myself when picking up product. We sanitize all our sewing machines every 30 minutes and each machine has at least six feet distance between them. Our seamstresses are practicing distancing themselves, washing their hands constantly and wearing one of our masks at all times.

What materials are the mask made out of?

They are made out of a high grade 100% white cotton fabric. Masks are made to be laundered daily in hot water and bleached as needed. The masks also have an opening at the bottom so you may insert a filter. We are recommending coffee filters as these are not very porous and easily cut into shape to fit into your mask. (You can purchase these online, while staying at home). The mask have thin elastic bands to increase comfort around the ears with extended use and a flexible nose piece to adjust with ease.

Is the mask approved by CDC; Are they N95 ?

They are not.

The masks that are for purchase on our site are not medical grade nor are they FDA approved. Though we did make these mask with medical professionals in mind. This is the reason the are white and 100% cotton, so that they can be easily sanitized and reused.

Our masks are not direct substitutes for N95, surgical, or procedural masks. We are not affiliated with any medical supply companies, we are just trying to help produce what we can in this time of need. We believe that having some type of mask is better than nothing at all. We have also been selling and donating to medical professionals who are currently using them.

Disclaimer: This face mask is not meant to replace the surgical face mask, it is a contingency plan for those who have no available mask. Proper use of a surgical mask is still the best way to prevent virus infection.
